Join us for our 8 game Cinco Juniors Summer Series Saturday mornings at Cinco Soccer Tampa.

BASIC INFORMATION:

• 8-week league, on Saturdays morning beginning June 8, 2024 and ending Saturday, August 3, 2024

• Open to ages 4-16, any gender, and at all skill levels from beginner to competitive.

• Every player registers as a Free Agent to be placed on a team. Players may request to be placed with a sibling/friend, a coach, or a team at registration. Request are based on availability and age requirements. If registering for a team, must be approved by the coach. Coaches, please submit a roster for team placement

• Team requests need to be filled-out in the Registration questions. Any questions, message Ariel Martinez on Opensports or by email at ariel@cincojuniors or for spanish, stefano@cincojuniors.com

• 6 weeks of regular games. 2 weeks of playoff games.

• Medals to Champions and Finalist.

REGISTRATION

• Free Agent Early Registration - $169/player - until May 12, 2024

• Free Agent Registration - $185/player - May 13- May 31, 2024

• Free Agent Late Registration - $195/player - June 1, 2024 and after.

• NOTICE: Every player signs-up as a Free Agent (If part of a Team, name the team at Registration)

IMPORTANT:

• If you are registering a Free Agent that is connected to a Team and your coach DID NOT list your child on that team's roster, your child will be on the Waiting List until we have placed everyone that signed-up on time. If there are still spots available on that coach's team, you will be assigned to that team.

• If you are registering a Free Agent that is NOT connected to a team, your child will be on the Cinco Juniors House Team.
  Usually we need coaches in all age groups. If you are interested in volunteering to coach please reach out to ariel@cincojuniors.com

• If we do not place your child on a team you will get a 100% refund back of your registration fees.

Registration Fees Include:

• Game Play for 8 weeks

AGES: 4 -16 years old

• Age Divisions (based on 2023/2024 season)

During registration, please select which division, competitive recreation or competitive premier

*NEW - If there is enough interest, we will have an all girls division for U12 - U16

• Under 6 (child must be at least 4 years old at the beginning of the league)

• U5 - Born between January 1, 2015 – December 31, 2019

• U6 - Born between January 1, 2016 – December 31, 2018

• Under 7 / Under 8 Division

• U7 - Born between January 1, 2017 – December 31, 2017

• U8 - Born between January 1, 2016 – December 31, 2016

Under 9 / Under 10 Division
U9 - Born between January 1, 2015 – December 31, 2015
U10 - Born between January 1, 2014 – December 31, 2014

Under 11 / Under 12 Division
U11 - Born between January 1, 2013 – December 31, 2013
U12 - Born between January 1, 2012 – December 31, 2012

Under 13 / Under 14 Division (Teens)
U13 - Born between January 1, 2011 – December 31, 2011
U14 - Born between January 1, 2010 – December 31, 2010

Under 15 / Under 16 Division (Teens)
U13 - Born between January 1, 2011 – December 31, 2009
U14 - Born between January 1, 2010 – December 31, 2008

GAMES:

• 1 game per weekend on Saturday mornings

• All games will be at the Cinco Soccer facility in Tampa, located at 5305 E. Henry Ave, Tampa FL 33610

• Each game consists of two, 22 minute halves

• Format: 5v5 (4 field players and a goalie)

• 10 player max roster

UNIFORMS:

Home and Away Game Shirts are included in your registration fee. Please state shirt size at registration. Players are to bring both game shirts each week in the case the team needs to change colors.

REFEREES:

• Our program has trained independent referees at games

• All referee decisions are final.

• Referees have the authority to suspend or terminate a game or eject a person from the complex if a player, coach or parent disrupts the game due to behavior or actions.

CONDUCT:

• Good Sportsmanship is expected among all participants between players, coaches, referees and spectators.

• Players are to be respectful of their coach and other players on and off the field

• Coaches are to be a positive role model, encouraging fair play with players and opposing teams.

• Parents are encouraged to show positive play of both teams. Respect the decisions of the coaches and referees.

• Disparaging Remarks of any player, coach or referees will not be tolerated.

Q - How to communicate if you have questions?
A - Register your son/daughter through the Open Sports App and then message Cinco Juniors Tampa

Q - My child has never played or is just beginning, can they play?
A - Yes, players do not have to be athletes in order to play for the first time, our program aims to build fitness, develop skill, and create teamwork.

Q - Can I play with a sibling or friend on the same team?
A - Yes, during registration, you may make a request by giving the players name. Players must be in the same age group. If on an existing team, it must be approved by the coach.

Q - Can a player play UP in another age group?
A - Yes, but no more than two years, with the permission of the coach

Q - Can a player play Down an age group?
A - NO, All players MUST play age-appropriate based on the age groups U8; U10; U12 and U14

Q - Can Parents volunteer?
A - Yes, coaches and positive role models are the backbone of sport.

Q - What does my player need to bring?
A - Players should bring game jerseys, home and away, cleats/turf shoes, shin guards, water or sports drink, sunscreen with sensitive skin.

Q - What are the main requirements to coach?
A - Having a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, apply positive coaching techniques and be present during games.

Q - What if I have no previous coaching experience?
A - No past coaching experience is necessary. Staff is ready to answer any questions you may have and assist in organizing the team. Please consider volunteering this season.

Q - Do we play if it is raining?
A - Safety is a priority for our players. Games will be played if it is raining unless the field conditions become unplayable. If it is lightning, games will be suspended until it is safe to play. In case of inclement weather prior to game time, please check messages on OpenSports App, email, and social media for any announcements regarding cancellations, field conditions or postponement of games.

Q - What if my child cannot make a game?
A - Games will be played as scheduled. If your child cannot make a game, please inform the coach and/or staff through OpenSports so that we are aware the player will not be at the game. If a game is cancelled due to inclement weather, we will reschedule the game, to be announced (TBA). No refunds for any missed games.
