
2025 Cinco Strong 5v5 Summer Series
BASIC INFORMATION:
8-week league, on Saturdays between 8:00am - 2:00pm beginning June 7, 2025 and ending Saturday, August 2, 2025
Open to ages 4-16, any gender, and at all skill levels from beginner to competitive.
Every player registers as a Free Agent to be placed on a team. Players may request to be placed with a sibling/friend, a coach, or a team at registration. Request are based on availability and age requirements. If registering for a team, must be approved by the coach. Coaches, please submit a roster for team placement

6 weeks of regular games. 2 weeks of playoff games.

If there are enough teams, divisions will be divided by appropriate age groups. If not, age groups will be combined.
At registration, please select level of experience so that we can place each player at the appropriate skill level if possible.
A player may play on two teams, but the teams must be in different divisions and need to pay the registration fee for each team. There are NO guest players.
*NEW - If there is enough interest, we will have an all girls division for U12 - U16. All other teams are considered co-ed.

UNIFORMS:
Home and Away Game Shirts are included in your registration fee. Please state shirt size at registration. Players are to bring both game shirts each week in the case the team needs to change colors. Teams are required to wear the Cinco Strong Jerseys during the games.

Q - How to communicate if you have questions?
A - Register your son/daughter through the Open Sports App and then message Cinco Strong
Q - My child has never played or is just beginning, can they play?
A - Yes, players do not have to be athletes in order to play for the first time, our program aims to build fitness, develop skill, and create teamwork.
Q - Can I play with a sibling or friend on the same team?
A - Yes, during registration, you may make a request by giving the players name. Players must be in the same age group. If on an existing team, it must be approved by the coach.
Q - Can a player play UP in another age group?
A - Yes, but no more than two years, with the permission of the coach
Q - Can a player play Down an age group?
A - NO, All players MUST play age-appropriate based on the age groups.
Q - Can Parents volunteer?
A - Yes, coaches and positive role models are the backbone of sport.
Q - What does my player need to bring?
A - Players should bring game jerseys, home and away, cleats/turf shoes, shin guards, water or sports drink, sunscreen with sensitive skin.
Q - What are the main requirements to coach?
A - Having a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, apply positive coaching techniques and be present during games.
Q - What if I have no previous coaching experience?
A - No past coaching experience is necessary. Staff is ready to answer any questions you may have and assist in organizing the team. Please consider volunteering this season.
Q - Do we play if it is raining?
A - Safety is a priority for our players. Games will be played if it is raining unless the field conditions become unplayable. If it is lightning, games will be suspended until it is safe to play. In case of inclement weather prior to game time, please check messages on OpenSports App, email, and social media for any announcements regarding cancellations, field conditions or postponement of games.
Q - What if my child cannot make a game?
A - Games will be played as scheduled. If your child cannot make a game, please inform the coach and/or staff through OpenSports so that we are aware the player will not be at the game. If a game is cancelled due to inclement weather, we will reschedule the game, to be announced (TBA). No refunds for any missed games.
