COMPETITION:
SESSION: Round Robin Alternating Partner DOUBLES Adult Session:
Participate in Pickle Kit’s Round Robin Competition, where you’ll play against all players in your session. Designated matches and reserves are allocated according to the Round Robin sheet.

Courts
👤 Limited to 1 reserve for each skill level
🥒Courts 1-3: ADVANCED Doubles league
🥒Courts 4-6: HIGH INTERMEDIATE Doubles league
🥒Courts 7-8: INTERMEDIATE Doubles comp

DURING SESSION:
⏰ Each round will be 10 minutes to ensure even playing time.
✅ Maximum score will be 11 points.

💬 Match results will be tallied and posted to the group chat after each session.

📋 Please note: If your average score falls below 5 across three consecutive competition sessions, or if your level isn’t aligned with the majority of players in the session, Zak may check in with you to assess whether this session is still the right fit.

SKILL LEVELS:

💪Which skill level do I choose?
The court level you choose when booking depends on your skill level. If you’re unsure, contact Coach Zak to ensure a great experience for everyone. Due to court availability and session bookings, the Pickle Kit hosts may need to combine skill levels or move players between courts.

• Beginner: You’ve got a handle on the basics — scoring, positioning, and how to play a match. Beginner Social Play is for players who can serve and return consistently, hold a short rally, and are developing their skills like volleys and dinks. Not quite there yet? Join another Beginner Practice first.
• Beginner+: This is a significant step up from our ‘Beginner’ level. It’s designed for players with more on-court experience — you can rally consistently, understand positioning, and are ready for a faster-paced, more competitive social hit. You’ll be developing your drops and drives as part of your gameplay.
• Intermediate: You can handle a faster-paced game, including net play and drive volleys. You’ve got a solid understanding of court positioning and are strategically using dinks and drop shots during play.

VENUES:
📍Undercover Courts at Mitchelton State High School - Entry via 19 Turnbull St, Mitchelton
📍Indoor Centre at Arana Hills - Entry via The Hills District PCYC

🚗 Each venue offers on-site and street parking.
⏰ Arrive within 15 minutes before the start time. Players can warm up during this time. Match Play starts 10 minutes after the session begins.

PICKLE KIT Court Conduct:
At Pickle Kit, players must be respectful, punctual, considerate, and fair. Players found not adhering to these standards will be excluded from all Pickle Kit events.
