COACHING:
SESSION: Tournament Training
Join Coach Zak as he helps you master advanced pickleball skills like spin, dinking, third shot drops, and volleying — while also improving your court positioning, communication, and mental toughness. You'll learn how to analyse your opponents’ weaknesses and adapt your strategies on the fly to gain the upper hand. You don’t need to be playing in a tournament to join — this session is perfect for any high-level player wanting to level up their competitive game.

Courts:

🥒Courts 5-8: Skills & Drills (Adult: Beginner+ to Intermediate)

SKILL LEVELS:

💪Which skill level do I choose?
The court level you choose when booking depends on your skill level. If you’re unsure, contact Coach Zak to ensure a great experience for everyone. Due to court availability and session bookings, the Pickle Kit hosts may need to combine skill levels or move players between courts.

• Intermediate: You can handle a faster-paced game, including net play and drive volleys. You’ve got a solid understanding of court positioning and are strategically using dinks and drop shots during play.
• High Intermediate (3.0+ DUPR*): You’ve developed strong control, placement, and strategy — and you’re continuing to sharpen your competitive edge. You can apply pressure and aggression to volleys, maintain consistency under pressure, and dictate the pace of play when needed.
• Advanced (3.5+ DUPR*): You’re a highly experienced player with refined technique, tactical precision, and strong competitive instincts. You thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure match play, consistently executing advanced shot selections, adapting strategies mid-rally.

VENUES:
📍Undercover Courts at Mitchelton State High School - Entry via 19 Turnbull St, Mitchelton
📍Indoor Centre at Arana Hills - Entry via The Hills District PCYC

🚗 Each venue offers on-site and street parking.
⏰ Arrive within 15 minutes before the start time. Players can warm up during this time. Match Play starts 10 minutes after the session begins.

PICKLE KIT Court Conduct:
At Pickle Kit, players must be respectful, punctual, considerate, and fair. Players found not adhering to these standards will be excluded from all Pickle Kit events.
