🎉 Lightning Team Challenge at Pickle Hub 🎉

Get ready for a thrilling team-based pickleball event that’s all about fun and great vibes! 🎉

🤝 Team Selection

Build your dream team or let us create one for you! Choose some or all of your teammates at checkin. If you don’t pick, we’ll allocate you to a team with an even mix of DUPR ratings, so you’ll play with and against both higher- and lower-rated players for a fun, balanced experience. ⚖️

🎮 Event Format

Dive into a dynamic team challenge! Get ready for a lively team-based challenge where the focus is on fun! Depending on registrations, teams will have 3, 4, or 5 players. Games use rally scoring to 21, win by one, and results won’t be recorded in DUPR – so play with freedom! 😎

During each game, you’ll partner with other players from your team, rotating a single player from each team after every 4 rallies to keep the energy high and ensure everyone gets a chance to shine. So you will be on the court for 8 rallies playing with 2 different players in your team before you are rotated off.

Your on-court tablet will let you know who you are playing with and when the next rotation occurs. Want to switch up the player combos for the next game? No problem, at the start of each new game you can re-assign your team positions.

💪 Skill Level Requirements

This event is for players with a DUPR rating of 2.6 or higher. 🚨 You must have a 2.6+ DUPR to participate – no exceptions! If you don’t have a DUPR yet, head to a Pickle Hub round robin session at Yeronga to get rated before signing up for this event. 📊

🚫 Not for Beginners

This session isn’t suited for beginners/newcomers to the game. If that’s you, attend an Introduction to Pickleball session at Yeronga, then attend our Pickle Hub beginner-friendly round robin sessions at Yeronga instead. 🌟

🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 Family and Workmate Teams

Want a team with family or workmates? All ages are welcome, from 10 to 80. All players including family and workmates, including any guests you invite, must have a 2.6+ DUPR rating, no exceptions and no beginners!

Whether you’re rallying with friends or making new ones, this event promises great shots, laughs, and plenty of pickleball action. 🏆 Spots are limited – register now and let’s hit the courts!

🏟️ Venue

Located at the Yeronga State High School, parking is available in the car park that you enter via Gate #8 located at the end of Oakwood Street.

To get to the venue put 2 Oakwood St, Yeronga in your GPS and drive in via Gate #8. We have our own car park next to the courts.
