Intermediate (DUPR 3.0–3.5)

For players comfortable with more competitive play and don’t mind having the ball hit much harder to you.  Players at this level are more consistent and beginning to use strategy during play.

Typical skills include:

  • Sustaining longer rallies with purposeful shot selection
  • Fewer unforced errors compared to lower levels
  • Ability to hit several dinks in a row with control
  • Ability to execute third-shot drops with increasing success
  • Making more intentional decisions about shot placement and direction
  • Using a mix of power and soft shots to control the point
  • Beginning to anticipate opponents’ shots
  • Learning how to handle and counter hard hitters effectively

PMC is now hosting a SUNDAY MEN ONLY Session on Courts 1 and 2 in Stadium 1.

All male players are welcome to attend our 2 hour session. Come and make some new friends and/or catch up with those you already know.

PMC Members enjoy a $5.00 per session discount.

Please note that any person under the age of eighteen (18) must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.

Non-members of Pickleball Victoria (PV) are welcome to participate. However, due to insurance requirements, bookings are only available for up to four weeks from the first visit. After this period, non-members must register with PV or sign a Risk Warning and Liability Waiver. During registration with PV, you will be prompted to select a club—please choose Pickleball Manningham Club to unlock a $5 member discount for all sessions.

Please note that any person under the age of eighteen (18) must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.

By joining this session, you acknowledge and accept that you must comply with the PMC Code of Conduct (tap here) and Pickleball Etiquette (tap here) . These guidelines are mandatory and exist to protect the safety, wellbeing, and enjoyment of all participants.

All players must:

  • Vacate courts promptly after games when others are waiting.

Consequences

Failure to follow these requirements may result in:

  • A verbal warning,

  • Referral to the club committee for further action under the Code of Conduct.

The club has zero tolerance for behaviour that compromises safety, respect, or the integrity of play.

If you witness or experience behaviour that breaches these standards, please report it immediately to the Person In Charge of the session.
