Game Times: Wednesday Nights at 6:45pm or 7:50pm

OFFICIALS: Referee fee is $15 per team each match.

TEAM SIZE
Each team consists of 6 players on the court at one time (never more than four players on the court identifying as men or non-binary). If a team has four players with a minimum of 1 identifying as a woman, it will be considered a legal game. However, the opposing team will have the option to utilize the ghost rule, which means that when it comes time for the missing player(s) to serve, that team will lose the service, and a point is awarded to the opposing team. Playing with four players does not mean you can play with quads rules; players must play their position in a 6v6 rotation. Teams may have up to 8 players on their roster.

GAMES
All games will be played using All-Rally Scoring rules. There are no side-outs and matches will consist of three (3) games. Each game will count in the overall standings for the regular season.

Playoffs
Top Two teams will get a first round BYE. Players must play at least half of the regular season games (4) to be playoff eligible.

SUBSTITUTIONS
Players may only play for one team. No substitutes are allowed in the playoffs, unless due to injuries or an unforeseen circumstance.

FORFEITS
Teams will forfeit one game every 10 minutes past the designated start time that they do not have the legal number of players. If no players are present from a team by 15 minutes after the specified start time, the missing team will forfeit the entire match, and the team that is present will receive all three wins. (Exception: Teams with less than four players or without one identifying as women may still play a "legal" game but only with the opposing team's consent.) All teams that consent to play a legal game with less than the allowed minimum waive their right to a forfeit win. Teams may pick up players during the regular season to field a full team. A team that forfeits their match is charged with a $30 forfeit fee; $15 for your team's ref fees, $15 for the opponent.

GAME PLAY
A legal serve crosses the net and is either touched by an opposing player or lands within the opposing team's area of the court within the boundary lines.
The server may not step on or over the end line until the ball has been contacted. The width of the service area is from sideline to sideline. The depth of the service area is infinite.
One (1) service tossing error is allowed.
A defensive block does not count as one of the allowable contacts. A player may reach over the net to block a ball if any portion of the ball breaks the net plane.
You cannot block a set that does not cross the plane of the net to the other side.
The serve may not be blocked or spiked.
Players can return the serve by a bump pass, clapping their hands together, a closed fist, a set (AS LONG AS THE BALL IS NOT CAUGHT OR CARRIED)
No part of the body may touch the net at any time unless a ball or person driven into the net causes the contact. Player contact with the net in a manner not directly relating to or affecting the course of play is not a violation. Contact with hair or part of the uniform will not be considered a fault.
Contact of the ball when spiking is legal only if a portion of the ball is in contact with the net plane or on the spiker's side of the net. Spikers may follow through over the net after legal contact.
The ball must be cleanly hit when spiking with an open hand. Guiding or carrying is illegal.
A carry is any use of an open hand(s) while making contact with the ball that is not in a firm manner. If the ball sits in your hand at any time, it is a carry.
A player may touch but not completely cross over the center line with his/her foot.
The ball can contact any body part, including the foot.
