THIS SESSION IS FOR INTERMEDIATE to ADVANCED PLAYERS ONLY.

"LEAGUE LADDER"

Temporary Format 5th , 12th, 19th & 26th June ( 4 weeks only)
YOU MUST HAVE A DUPR PROFILE TO PARTICIPATE
Failure to have a Dupr Profile will exclude you from this session. See www.scpickleball.com.au for how to join Dupr.

The Format will be "League Ladder"
You will be placed in Groups of 5.
Your group number will be dependent on your current( on the night) DUPR Rating.
Group 1 will be the top 5 rated players
Group2 will be the next 5 highest players , and so on.
If you do not have a Dupr rating yet you will start in the bottom group.
Within your Group you will play with each of your group members once. 4 games in all . Play to 11 win by 2.
You will be given a number from 1 to 5 within your group. This will be based on your current Dupr rating. Games will be seeded.
Where possible group members will have no more than 0.2 variation in their Dupr rating.

If groups of 5 are not possible for the lower groups ,then groups of 4 will be made and 3 games played.

Game results will be recorded and signed by the players.
ALL RESULTS will be uploaded to DUPR, weekly.
Your group number the following week will be dependent on your current Dupr rating that week.
Any remaining time of the 2 hour session will be used for Social play.
All player groups and Dupr ratings and seeding of games will be made visible to all on the night.
Running of these Sessions will be at the discretion of the Host and SCPC organizers.

INTERMEDIATE to ADVANCED:
You can generally hit both forehand and backhand drives, serves, and returns with pace.
You can hit dinks, drop shots, and volleys (including block volleys) of different speeds, and have consistency and control.
You understand the strategy and rules of pickleball (including stacking)
You have a moderate number of unforced errors, and you understand how to attack your opponents’ weaknesses on the pickleball court.
****You understand that an advanced player of pickleball does not play from the baseline of the court and approaches the non-volley line:
