Important Note for This Session!!
The DUPR Court challenge is a structured, tiered event that places players directly on courts according to their DUPR ratings. This ensures balanced matchups, fair competition and a chance for players to test their skill against others of a similar level. (Please note that the scores from this session are not uploaded to DUPR and we purely use your DUPR rating to place you on a court. If you do not have a DUPR rating please rate yourself as accurately as possible.

Please ensure you arrive on time and stay for the full duration of this session. WARM UP FROM 5:45PM with a strict 6PM start.

Due to the specific format we’re running, late arrivals or early departures disrupt the structure and make it difficult for the session to run successfully.

If you’re unable to commit to the full time slot, we kindly ask that you choose another session that better suits your schedule.

HOW IT WORKS:

* Court Setup : Players are placed on courts based on DUPR tiers (e.g. 2.5-3.0. 3.0-3.5, 3.5-4.0, 4.0+)

:Each court has 4 players.

* Step 1: Mini Round Robin

: On each court , players rotate partners so everyone plays 3 games (timed 12 minutes).

:Scores are tracked individually.

* Step 2: Court Ranking

: After 3 games, each player's points are totaled to create a 1st-4th place ranking.

* Step 3: Ladder Movement

:1st place moves up a court, 4th place moves down, 2nd and 3rd remain.

:New rounds begin with fresh mini round robins.

What is DUPR? Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating - it is the leading rating systems for pickleball players. The DUPR rating system ranges from 2.0 for beginners to 8.0 for professionals. DUPR Ratings are 4 digits (eg 4.499) and are based on a player's wins and losses, the ratings of their opponents and whether the game was rec. play or a tournament (tournament wins and losses are weighted more heavily). Players also receive separate ratings for doubles, singles and mixed doubles.

Creating your DUPR Account: You will need to setup your DUPR account that is linked to Focus Pickleball (It is free to set up an account).

1. Download and install the DUPR app on your phone and create your free DUPR Account.
2. Go to https://dashboard.dupr.com/dashboard/browse/clubs/8282795486 to join Focus Club on DUPR.
