👥 Intended for BB players. BB players can execute all skills very well (passing, setting, spiking, blocking, digging and serving) but vary in their consistency.
⬇️BB (lower-BB) and ⬆️BB (upper-BB) refers to how consistent you are at passing, setting, spiking, blocking, digging and serving. ⬆️BB is 80% consistent at every skill point for your physical characteristics.
🅱️🅱️ players know where to be on the court at all times when the plays are developing. They know where to be when the opponent is hitting. They know the footwork of and how to approach hitting effectively. A BB player knows how to run a 5-1, a 6-2 and needlessly, a 4-2.
🏐🏐 Specific positions may have slightly different requirements. Libero has a higher expectation for passing than other positions, while Middle Blockers and Outside/Opposite Hitters have a higher expectation for hitting the ball down with power and blocking. Hitting percentage (kills minus errors divided by total attempts) of BB level hitters is around .20, +2 points for every 10 hitting attempts. Outside Hitters should also have strong passing skills. Setters are the “quarterbacks” of each team and must be very experienced in running 5-1 and very consistent in all types of sets (e.g., 1 thru 5, shoot/slide) to make sure each team is set up for success.
