Welcome to CFRS FIFA 21 Holiday Time Tournament!

We're excited to include everyone who'd like to play in this FREE tournament!

The format of the tournament will be:

• Played form the comfort of your home!
• Free Registration!
• Playstation 4 or Playstation 5
• Discord Communication Server Use Mandatory (https://discord.gg/E6hc5NW )
• 32 Players
• 2 Stages
• 3 Games minimum per player
• All games played on the evening of 12/26 (Promptly at 5:00 PM) every 20 minutes
• 6 minute halves (Group Stage), 8 minute halves (Knockout)
• Shirts/Jerseys/CFRS Credit to top 3 players

SWISS Format Group Stage:

All 32 players will be placed in one large group, and play a "First to 3" format. Everyone is playing to either 3 Wins, or 3 Losses, whichever comes first. If you go 3-0, through to the playoffs, 0-3, you're out. Similarly you can make it through at 3-2 or 3-1, but any combination that gets you to 3 losses means you're eliminated.
In this stage players will be drawn randomly for the first game, and then for every subsequent game you'll be matched against an opponent with a similar record (1-0 vs 1-0, 0-1 vs 0-1, 0-2 vs 0-2, 2-2 vs 2-2). All this means you'll play a minimum of 3 games in qualification, with a maximum of 5.

Single Elimination Knockout Phase:

All players that advance through Group phase seeded based on results and goal differential, and drawn in to a Bracket. Games will be lengthened to 8 Minute Halves, and the higher seed will host.
