COMPETITION:
SESSION: Fortnightly - Pickle Komp
Pickle Komp is designed to simulate tournament conditions by offering players first to 15 doubles and first to 11 singles. Switch ends at 8/6, time outs and a same partner/team environment with 2 doubles and 3 singles matches.

Teams
👤Sign up yourself and your teammates ~OR~ Don't have a team? Sign up solo and leave the "partner" spot open for someone else to join your team.
👤Can't book into the same team with your teammates? No problem! As long as there are two-three spots left in the same division, book those spots. Then simply message Zak with your partner's name, and he'll arrange it on the night.
👤NO RESERVES. Please note that there are no reserves for this session. To ensure that the session runs smoothly, if you are unable to attend last minute - please notify Zak ASAP.

DURING SESSION:
Matches will be allocated as per the Pickle Komp recording sheet
⏰ Warm Up: 7:00-7:10pm
🥒 Players to flip a coin/paddle to decide the server.
☝️One time out (2min) is allowed per team for both doubles and singles matches.

• Court #1: Players ‘1’ & ‘2’ from each team will play doubles first to 15 swapping ends at 8.

• Court #2: Players ‘3’ from each team will play singles first to 11, swapping ends at 6.

• As above with players 1-3 to play doubles while player 2 from each team plays singles.

• As above with players 2-3 to play doubles while player 1 from each team plays singles.

• Then players 2 & 3 play singles

• Then players 1 & 2 play singles

• Then players 1 & 3 play singles

🍻Make sure to cheer on your fellow teammates.
🕣Any remaining time before 9pm, players are welcome to arrange social matches.

SKILL LEVELS:

💪Which skill level do I choose?
The court level you choose when booking depends on your skill level. If you’re unsure, contact Coach Zak to ensure a great experience for everyone. Due to court availability and session bookings, the Pickle Kit hosts may need to combine skill levels or move players between courts.

• Intermediate: You can handle a faster-paced game, including net play and volleys. You understand court positioning and are starting to incorporate dinks and drop shots into your strategy.
• High Intermediate: You’re consistently playing on the top courts in our social sessions. You’ve developed strong control, placement, and strategy — and you’re continuing to sharpen your competitive edge.
• Advanced: You’re an experienced player with high-level skills and tactical awareness. You compete confidently in fast-paced settings and thrive in advanced match play formats.

VENUES:
📍Undercover Courts at Mitchelton State High School - Entry via 19 Turnbull St, Mitchelton
📍Indoor Centre at Arana Hills - Entry via The Hills District PCYC

🚗 Each venue offers on-site and street parking.
⏰ Arrive within 15 minutes before the start time. Players can warm up during this time. Match Play starts 10 minutes after the session begins.

PICKLE KIT Court Conduct:
At Pickle Kit, players must be respectful, punctual, considerate, and fair. Players found not adhering to these standards will be excluded from all Pickle Kit events.
