COMPETITION:
SESSION: Pickle Komp
Pickle Komp is designed to simulate tournament conditions by offering players first to 15 doubles and first to 11 singles. Switch ends at 8/6, time outs and a same partner/team environment with 2 doubles and 3 singles matches.

🥒Courts 5-8: High Intermediate (This Komp is not for 'Intermediate' players. See Skill Level description below)

Teams
👤Sign up you and your teammates ~OR~ Don't have a team? Sign up solo and leave the "partner" spot open for someone else to join your team.
👤Can't book into the same team with your teammates? No problem! As long as there are two-three spots left in the same division, book those spots. Then simply message Zak with your partner's name, and he'll arrange it on the night.
👤Limited to 24 players: NO RESERVES. Please note that there are no reserves for this session. To ensure that the session runs smoothly, if you are unable to attend last minute - please notify Zak ASAP.

DURING SESSION:
Matches will be allocated as per the Pickle Komp recording sheet
⏰ Warm Up: 7:00-7:10pm
🥒Players to flip a coin/paddle to decide the server.

• Players 1 & 2 from each team will play doubles first to 15 swapping ends at 8. While on a 2nd court, player 3 from each team will play singles first to 11, swapping ends at 6. One time out (2min) is allowed per team for both doubles and singles matches.
• As above with players 1-3 to play doubles while player 2 from each team plays singles.
• As above with players 2-3 to play doubles while player 1 from each team plays singles.
• Then players 2 & 3 play singles
• Then players 1 & 2 play singles
• Then players 1 & 3 play singles

🍻Make sure to cheer on your fellow teammates.
🕣Any remaining time before 9pm players are welcome to arrange social matches.

SKILL LEVELS:

💪Which skill level do I choose?
The skill level that you select when booking will be used to allocate you to a court. If you are unsure of your level of play, please contact Coach Zak. To ensure the best experience for all players, Coach Zak may advise the level of play you are at - at times this will be below or above your self-allocated level.

• Intermediate: (This Komp is not for 'Intermediate' players.) You can handle receiving fast balls and have an understanding of court positioning strategies. You are confident when volleying at the net and can handle receiving fast drives and speed-ups. You are working on incorporating drop shots and dinks into your game.
• High Intermediate: When playing competitive match play with Pickle Kit, you are consistently at the top courts. You are someone who has a high level of skill in pickleball and is working on refining their skills and strategies to become more competitive.
• Advanced: You are someone who has mastered the skills and strategies of pickleball and can consistently perform at a high level in competitive settings.

WHAT TO BRING:

• 👟Tennis shoes (or similar)

📍Undercover Courts at Mitchelton State High School - Entry via 19 Turnbull St, Mitchelton
📍Indoor Centre at Arana Hills - Entry via The Hills District PCYC

🚗 There is onsite and street parking available at each venue.
⏰ Arrive within 15 minutes before start time. Players are welcome to warm up during this time. Match Play will begin within 10min of the session commencing.

PICKLE KIT Court Conduct:
At Pickle Kit, players are expected to be respectful, punctual, considerate, and fair. Proper pickleball etiquette is similar to that of any social sport. Any player found not adhering to these standards will be restricted from all Pickle Kit events.
