University open day, unavailable space
Hi there!
☞This session is located in the Victoria University Aquatic and Fitness Centre in Footscray. The easiest way to explain the location is by google mapping 3 mills close, Footscray. Once you are here you will see a tall building with an L. Building L is the location of the courts. There is a small parking lot with a boom gate- head over this then once on the other turn right and go into building via the glass door. Catch the elevator up to level 1 court 1 we are in the Basketball court!
☞There is free parking outside the aquatic centre if you take Farnsworth road take a right onto Maribyrnong blvd and another right at the rowing club.
☞ We are currently trying to work out what is needed in the space based on the pickleball community. At the moment we will trial:
1st Friday of the month; Ladies social
2nd Friday of the month; DUPR recorded session
3rd Friday of the month; Drilling (1 hour) & Match play (1 hour) not coaching but a series of drills
4th Friday of the month; Intermediate/ advanced
☞ If you are joining the DUPR session PLEASE make sure you have an account with DUPR and have joined Pickleball Alley club on DUPR. This makes it much easier for organisers to put scores in after the session and not chase players up. It is free to create a DUPR account, join a club and also for us to put the scores in.

☞ We have paddles, nets and balls so please come prepared with appropriate clothing, shoes, water bottle and food requirements if need be (i.e if you are a diabetic). Equipment (paddle) can be provided at a hire cost of $2/ session! You can select this option when you go to join the session (session & paddle hire).
☞ This venue gets HOT in particular weather (summer).
