🔥Fyreball

Fyreball is Pickle Hub’s competition style play using a modified King of the Court format, with optional DUPR recording of game scores. This session is for intermediate or above players. Your DUPR must be 3.0 or above to play in this session.

👑 Players will play across multiple courts in a showdown to be crowned the Kings/Queens of the court aka the Head Gerkins. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to rise through the ranks and become the ultimate Head Gerkin! Out-pickle your opponents, out-dill your competition, and claim your spot as the Head Gerkin!

🏆 It's called Fyreball because the competition will be scorching hot. Loads of non-stop action, so bring your A-game because rest breaks may, or may not, be served up.

💯 Games are be played using Pickle Hub rally scoring to 21. Find out more about this rally scoring format here.

🎯 What’s DUPR? The court you start on is based upon your DUPR rating. DUPR is an international pickleball rating system that tracks player’s ratings. With each game entered in DUPR, players’ ratings are adjusted based on the score of the game and the ratings of the opponents they were playing. When you checkin you will be asked if you want your session scores recorded in DUPR or not.

🎯 Creating your DUPR account You will need to setup your DUPR account that is linked to Pickle Hub (it’s free to setup).
1️⃣ Download and install the DUPR app on your phone and create your free DUPR account.
2️⃣ Tap here to join the Pickle Hub club on DUPR.

✅ Check-in as soon as you arrive using the check-in tablet by tapping on your photo and following the prompts.

💁 Want to start with a partner? Select your partner at check-in and the system will check you both in and make sure you have your first game together.

⏰ First games are allocated at exactly 7:03pm based on who has checked in by that time.

👀 After 7:03pm view any of the tablets for your assigned game. Find your assigned partner and proceed to the designated court. Keep your warm-up to a few minutes then begin your match.

👏 The winning team goes to the next court (eg win on court 3 you move to court 2). The winning team should stay warm on their new court while they await their opponents.

😿 The losing team must go to any of the on-court tablets, enter the score for the game and wait to see what court they will be allocated to next. Please do this ASAP at the end of your game. You may have to wait for other games to finish before the system can allocate you to your next game.

💡Swap sides halfway through your match when you reach 11 points.

👁️‍🗨️ Please make sure you have set a profile picture in open sports, otherwise you will be randomly allocated an AI generated image.
