Big City Volleyball is excited to open our Winter Girls' Youth League for players in Grades 7-12 in Brooklyn, Queens & Manhattan, who have the volleyball skills and desire to COMPETE in a LEAGUE with:

1. Weekly Practices
2. Weekend Refereed Matches
3. Standings / Playoffs / Uniforms
4. All-City Championship

In order to participate, all players who are not returning from previous seasons must attend one Try-Out to be considered for the Winter 26/27 League and should have prior playing experience on either a club or school team or have taken our advanced youth volleyball classes during the year or at one of our Summer Camps.

Try-Out Details:

Date: Thursday, November 5th

Time: 6:00 - 7:30pm

Location: PS 267 East Side Elementary School

Try-Out Details:

2. *Players returning from previous seasons do not need to attend Try-Outs.
3. The $25 Registration fee is a TRYOUT FEE ONLY. All players must attend at least one tryout to be considered for the league.

For New players selected, the Girls Youth League program will cost $995 and include:

1. Winter 2026-27 Season: November 30th, 2026 - February 7th, 2027
2. 8 practices
3. 8 Weekend Refereed Matches including Pre-Season Scrimmage & Playoffs
4. City Championship - February 7th IF TEAM QUALIFIES
5. 2 divisions: 7-8th grade / 9-12th grade
6. NO GAMES or PRACTICES 12/21 -1/2
7. All players are guaranteed to play in a minimum of 2 sets per match
8. Professional Uniforms
9. Experienced Big City Coaching Staff with collegiate experience + referees
10. Match Locations: Manhattan (Midtown West) / Brooklyn (Williamsburg) / Queens (Forest Hills)
11. Match Days: Saturdays
12. Match Time Frame: 10am - 6pm (Varies Depending on Borough)
13. Manhattan Practice location - Upper West Side / Upper East Side (Monday / Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday / Friday)
14. Brooklyn Practice location - Park Slope (Monday / Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday / Friday)
15. Queens Practice location - Forest Hills (Monday / Friday)
