Ready for a serious workout💪, a ton of fun🎉, and the ultimate pathway to improving your pickleball game? Then join us for Mini-Singles (also known as Skinny Singles)!
Unlike traditional singles, which focuses on wearing down your opponent with base line drives, Mini-Singles is all about strategy and laser-sharp accuracy🎯 within a smaller half-court area. It's a fantastic way to hone your shot placement, improve your fitness, and get a strategic edge.

Important Note: This session is not suited to beginner pickleball players.
You don't need previous Mini-Singles experience—we'll teach you the rules! You must have previous doubles experience to participate. This event is for players with a doubles DUPR rating of 3.0 or higher. 🚨 If you don’t have a doubles DUPR yet, head to a Pickle Hub doubles round robin session at Yeronga to get rated before signing up for this event. 📊
This session isn’t suited for beginners/newcomers to the game of pickleball. You don't need mini-singles or singles pickleball experience, but you do need to have pickleball doubles experience. If that’s you, attend an Introduction to Pickleball session at Yeronga, then attend our Pickle Hub beginner-friendly doubles round robin sessions at Yeronga instead. 🌟
Mini-Singles involves a single player playing against a single opponent on half of the court, rather than the full court. The side of the court you play on depends on your score:
The same rules apply to your opponent—you can only place your shots onto the side of their court corresponding to their score (right for even, left for odd). This means sometimes you'll be playing straight-line across the net, and other times you'll be playing cross-court!🔄
Don't worry if it sounds complex! We’ll give you all the info you need to jump in and play confidently.
Spots are limited - register now and experience the strategic challenge of Mini-Singles!
