SHADEHUNTERS UNITE - If this is a favourite session for you, be sure to check each week whether it is running at Nissan Arena, Hibiscus Stadium or Mt Gravatt Rec Hall. These are our three indoor venues, and the session location may change depending on venue availability-join the fun!

There are levels to suit every player, we are dedicated to fun, friendship and skill development and run entirely by volunteers.

This session is suitable for players who are new to the game (after attending a Come & Try), as well as those who enjoy relaxed, social games with friends.

To join this session, players should:

• Know the basic rules, how to keep score, and where to stand on court
• Be building confidence and consistency in their shots
• Be developing control around the kitchen and making more consistent shot choices

Expect:

• Fun, socially competitive games in a positive and welcoming environment
• Opportunities for developing rallies, improving skills, and placing shots more effectively
• Players adapting their play to the level of their court and encouraging others

The focus is on fun, confidence-building, and inclusive play.

Expect fun, lots of laughs, and catch up with mates and new pickleball pals.

Arrive within 15 minutes of start time, to assist with set up.
Bring own paddle, water bottle and towel.
Follow directions of event host.

Cost is $15 for BPC members & $20 for non-members.

Parking - the address is Park Rd Mt Gravatt, follow this road to the Aquatic centre where there is parking.

There is only one road in and it comes off Gaza Rd, and is then off the on ramp to the motorway heading south.
See photo below for map. Then straight at the round about heading for the Aquatic centre. Follow the road through the car parks heading for the Aquatic centre.

There is a busway stop very close, Griffith University station, Upper Mount Gravatt. ID 010819
Walk past the tennis courts and up the road a little. On the right you will see a very big grey building. The courts are in there, so walk up the little hill into the area.
