We’re thrilled to have you join us! There are levels to suit every player, we are dedicated to fun, friendship and skill development and run entirely by volunteers. Which session do I choose? Pickleball games are most fun when you play with those with similar skill levels. This guide will help you to choose a session to ensure everyone has a great time. We are a community of experienced players eager to answer any questions and welcome you to the joy of Pickleball.
• Come & Try: Perfect for those new to Pickleball! Join our introductory sessions and learn the basics in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
• Social Recreational Play for Fun: Get confident with scoring and rules while having a blast. Work on reducing unforced errors and avoiding kitchen volleys, all in good company.
• Intermediate Competitive Play for Experienced Players: If you can play and return fastballs, understand strategies, and enjoy lengthy rallies, this is the session for you. Start incorporating a soft game and use drop shots and regular dinking in your plays.
• Intermediate Plus 3.0 to 3.49 Tournament Level Play: Ideal for those who respond well to opponents' speed-ups and know how to reset to stay in the game. You understand court positioning strategy, know when to advance and retreat, and can recover from forced pop-ups to stay in the point. Your soft game includes drop shots and dinks.
• 3.5 to 3.99 Tournament Level Play: In addition to the skills from the 3.0 to 3.5 level, you anticipate shots, resulting in strong court positions. You control and place serves and return serves to your best advantage, consistently employ team strategies, and continually vary your shots to create a competitive edge. You work and move as one with your partner.
4+ Advanced Tournament Level Play: For players with a 4+ DUPR
Our hosts will run a variety of session types based on the participants who join. If needed, they will provide feedback to ensure the session is the right fit for you.

Cost is $13 for BPC members & $18 for visitors.

Bring own paddle, water bottle and towel.
Follow directions of event host.
The address is Park Rd Mt Gravatt, follow this road to the Aquatic centre where there is parking.

There is only one road in and it comes off Gaza Rd, and is then off the on ramp to the motorway heading south.

There is a busway stop very close, Griffith University station, Upper Mount Gravatt. ID 010819
Walk past the tennis courts and up the road a little. On the right you will see a very big grey building. The courts are in there, so walk up the little hill into the area.
