Nissan/Mt Gravatt – Choosing a session guide
Please ensure you join the correct session that matches your level of ability.

Come & Try: Introduction sessions for those new to Pickleball.

Social Recreational Play for fun: Becoming confident with scoring & rules. Working to reduce unforced errors and avoiding kitchen volleys.

Intermediate Competitive Play for Experienced Players: Can play and return fastballs. Understand the strategy. Incorporating a soft game and utilising drop shots and regular dinking in your games. Enjoying lengthy rallies.

Intermediate Plus 3.0 to 3.5 for Tournament Level Play: You respond well to opponent's speed-ups and can reset to stay in the game. You understand court positioning strategy, know when to advance & retreat and can recover a forced pop-up to stay in the point. You have a well-developed soft game incorporating drops shots and dinks.

Approaching Advanced 3.5 to 4.0/Advanced 4.0+ for Tournament Level Play: In addition to 3.0 to 3.5 skills, you anticipate shots resulting in strong court position, control and place serves and return of serves to best advantage, consistently employ team strategies, continually vary shots to create a competitive advantage, works and moves as one with partner.

The hosts will run a variety of session types based on the participants who have joined. Our hosts will if required provide feedback to players if the session is not appropriate for you.

Cost is $13 for BPC members & $18 for non-members.

Arrive within 15 minutes of start time, to assist with set up.
Bring own paddle, water bottle and towel.
Follow directions of event host.
The address is Park Rd Mt Gravatt, follow this road to the Aquatic centre where there is parking.

There is only one road in and it comes off Gaza Rd, and is then off the on ramp to the motorway heading south.
See photo below for map. Then straight at the round about heading for the Aquatic centre. Follow the road through the car parks heading for the Aquatic centre.

There is a busway stop very close, Griffith University station, Upper Mount Gravatt. ID 010819
Walk past the tennis courts and up the road a little. On the right you will see a very big grey building. The courts are in there, so walk up the little hill into the area.
