NOTE this session is a trial and should there not be enough players to run as a Four Teams session it will be changed to an alternative Teams event when possible, otherwise it will be a round robin

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start time for check-in and team preparation before play can start. The event will consist of four teams with four players per team. If you have to cancel after the 24HR deadline, please cancel on Opensports and message the host on the event chat so a replacement can be found.

The host will split players into teams in an attempt to have even abilities across all teams.

Due to this session requiring the right number of players the host may cancel the waitlist within 24hrs of this session starting if places need filling.

DESCRIPTION FOR INTERMEDIATE LEVEL:
Player demonstrates a broad knowledge of the rules of the game.
Gets high majority of serves in.
Can serve and return serves DEEP.
Moves quickly towards the non-volley zone when opportunity is there.
With varying consistency executes - lobs, forehand/backhand ground strokes, overheads, net volleys and can sustain short dink rallies.
Starts to use drop shots (third-shot drop) in order to get to the net.
Hits fewer balls out of bounds or in the net.
