Round Robin Pickleball

This pickleball session is a round robin format where you will get to play with and against other players of a similar skill level to you. You can join the skill level of your choosing below which will determine which court you will play on.

Have you played pickleball before?

This session is for people who have played pickleball before.
The Beginner level is for people who have previously attended an Introduction to Pickleball.

If you are new to pickleball, you will need to attend an Introduction to Pickleball session before joining a game play session. Introduction to Pickleball sessions are available at all Pickle Hub locations.

If you’ve previously played tennis, though you haven’t played pickleball before, you will need to attend the Introduction to Pickleball session.

Which skill level do I choose?

Unsure which level to join? Let us help you with this general guide:

  1. Beginner: You recently attended an Introduction to Pickleball or Come and Try.
  2. Beginner+: You've attended a couple of Beginner sessions and are feeling more confident with scoring.
  3. Social: You understand the rules and scoring and call out the score before you serve.
  4. Social+: You are confident with the rules and scoring. You call your own kitchen faults. You want to play social but with better players. You are working on reducing your unforced errors. You implement the return and run strategy.
  5. Intermediate: This is the first level of competitive pickleball. Self rating: 2.5-2.9. You can handle receiving fast balls. You are familiar with court positioning strategy. You are confident when volleying at the net and can handle receiving fast drives and speed-ups.
  6. Intermediate+: Self rating: 3.0-3.4. You can handle receiving fast balls, speed-ups and know how to reset. You also have a soft game with drop shots and dinks. You are familiar with court positioning strategy, including knowing when the serving team should advance and knowing when to retreat to defend after a pop-up.
  7. Advanced: Rating 3.5-3.9 that can be verified in DUPR or Pickleball Brackets
  8. Advanced+: Rating 4.0-4.9 that can be verified in DUPR or Pickleball Brackets

Fair dink em' gameplay

At Pickle Hub, we believe that everyone deserves equal court time to play and have fun. Fair dink em’ gameplay means everyone gets the same amount of time on the court, rotating through partners and opponents. You'll get to meet new people and challenge yourself in new ways.

Games are timed and played using standard sideout scoring. This ensures that everyone gets to play a fair and equal amount of time.
