Rise & Slide (Doubles Format) is a structured, competitive ladder session designed for players who want to test themselves, adapt to different partners, and climb the courts.

Players are allocated starting court positions by the convener based on skill level, current form, and overall balance of the group. This ensures strong matchups from the outset and a fair, competitive progression throughout the night.

Format

• Play 6 games
• Winners move up a court and split
• Losers move down a court and split
• New partner every round

Scoring

• Rally scoring to 21
• Win by 2
• Freeze at 20 (must win on serve)
• Freeze is lifted once both teams reach 20 (returns to rally scoring)

Player Level

Designed for intermediate to advanced players who:

• Enjoy competitive play
• Want to challenge themselves
• Are comfortable with fast-paced rotations and changing partners

Results

Winners are determined by:

• Total match wins
• Accumulated points across all games
