Advanced competitive level of play for faster-paced games and tournament-level players.

Self-awareness - Are you suited for this level?

• If you have only ever played at social or Intermediate levels before, this session is not suitable for you, as it spoils it for those already playing at a competitive level.
• If you are missing or losing most of your shots and/or games, this level is not suitable for you, and you should join less competitive sessions instead.

Advanced skills level required:
DUPR Rating level or equivalent 3.5 to 4.0

Service & stroke play abilities:

• Consistent execution of deep serves, deep returns, and dinking. 
• Strong ability to play both a hard and soft game, and different types of games and shots to gain an advantage
• Able to handle a variety of opponents’ shots while at the NVZ.
• Excellent awareness and agility on the court to move to the NVZ to gain an advantage.

Reset the play and strategic court positioning

• Understands opponents’ strengths and weaknesses and can adapt the play to gain advantage
• Confidence and ability to hit a reliable third shot drop and use a soft game to reset the ball when needed
• Knows when to move to the NVZ, moves in sync with a partner, and understands how to cover angles effectively.
• Confident in playing effective teamwork and team placement to gain an advantage
• Makes clear calls, discusses, and implements strategies with partner.
