During Phase 3 of Reopening in Chicago, in-person classes are limited to 10 people. Utilizing the endless public spaces in Chicago, we'll rotate through various locations for these bootcamp sessions. Be sure to make note of the location listed for this class. Check the chat section for tips on parking and what to bring with you. We'll lead you through a warm-up followed by a full-body workout. Mixing bodyweight movements and equipment, you'll work on cardio, legs/butt, arms, core, and back.
In the case of inclement weather, we'll make a call 2 hours before class time on whether we are on or need to switch to a zoom workout. We'll post this decision in the chat section of this class listing. If we switch to Zoom, we'll provide the link in the chat and you'll also have the option to cancel for a full refund or credit.
What to wear and how to prepare:
Wear athletic shoes and clothing. Dress for the weather and bring sunscreen in case we are working out in the sun. Please adhere to COVID-19 safety guidelines and wear a mask before and after the workout. During the workout, we'll be spaced 6 feet apart and you can remove your mask.
Do not attend if you are feeling sick, have a fever, or have been around anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
We may be sharing equipment, which we'll sanitize before and after the workout. We'll provide hand sanitizer you can use at any point. If you are uncomfortable sharing equipment, just let the coach know and we'll make modifications. Please be mindful of other people's comfort levels with masks at this time and do not approach them in close proximity without a mask without first asking them.
First time working out in a while or have movement restrictions?
No problem - everything we do is modifiable. Just let the coach know at the beginning and we'll give you alternative movements as needed. We'll demonstrate everything so it's easy to follow. And if you can only do half of the work, don't get down on yourself. You're trying and that's great! We all started where you are starting and you'll improve in no time. As long as you have the drive, we'll help you stick with it!
Arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled start time. Class begins right on time and latecomers will do 10 burpees for every minute they are late. Class typically lasts 45-minutes to an hour.
Need to cancel?
You will automatically receive a refund or credit as long as you cancel your registration two or more hours before the scheduled class time. If an emergency comes up less than two hours before class, please message us and we'll handle those cancelations on a case by case basis. The cancelation window is built so the coaches have time to prepare for class and also to hold you accountable. Monthly members: While there is currently no penalty for canceling late or being a no-show, if you repeatedly abuse your membership privileges, we will have strong words with you and potentially revoke your membership.
Go get those gains, tiger!
