👥 Intended for 🅱️🅱️ players or better. Reverse coed rules (see below). One indoor court. 3 teams (18 players) max. Your team will play on one side of the court, then play on the other side of the court for the next game, then rest during the third game, repeating till the event ends.

⚠️ Only claim a ticket for the gender to which you identify. Tickets to the contrary will be rejected.

GENERAL RULES OF PLAY
• net height is 2.24 meters, regulation women’s volleyball
• teams consist of two males and four female players

RESTRICTIONS ON MALE PLAYERS
• blocking is prohibited at any point
• attacks on balls above the height of the net are prohibited while in front of the attack line
• if on or in front of the 10ft line, the ball must be put over the net with a bump, or a strike that gives the ball an upward trajectory, such as a roll shot, or bump with the knuckles or fist
• if behind the 10ft line, attacks are permitted
• jump sets that go over the net are permitted only when it has an obvious upward arc
• jump serves are permitted

BLOCKING RULES FOR FEMALE PLAYERS
• only female players may block
• if only one female is in the front row, a back row female may block, but not to hit
• the remaining female player in the back row must stay behind the attack line until contact is made with the ball by one of the two blockers or the ball is hit in a way that does not allow for blocking to occur
• triple blocks are not permitted

RANKING SYSTEM (low to high):
Beginner ↗️ B ↗️ BB ↗️ A ↗️ AA ↗️ Pro

🅱️🅱️ players knows where to be on the court at all times when plays are developing. They know where to be when the opponent is hitting. They know the footwork of and how to approach hitting effectively. A "BB" player knows how to run a 5-1, a 6-2, and needlessly, a 4-2.

🅰️ players are above average competitive players. These individuals may possess the skills needed to play professionally. They have in depth knowledge of offensive and defensive game play, and use advanced strategies to be successful. Level A players are typically in excellent physical condition and are able to compete at a high level. These players are former club and/or college athletes, and are extremely competitive.
