Welcome to Super Pickleball indoor beginners sessions
Please not session is 10.15am-12.15pm
Whether you’re a seasoned player or completely new to the game, join us for a fun session of pickleball at our venue. This session is a great opportunity to get moving, learn the game, meet other local enthusiasts, and be part of the growing pickleball community in our area!
2 hrs session Indoor venue courts flooring is Pulastic (soft rubber), 1391 Beaudesert road, acacia ridge | plenty of car park, change rooms with showers, spectators area , next swimming pool | car park entry via coley st.
What to Expect: 3 x indoor courts available – Plenty of space for everyone to play and enjoy the game.
We can’t wait to see you there and make this first session a memorable one. Let’s get the paddles swinging!
3x Drill & skill (All levels)
Introduction to Pickleball – No experience needed! We’ll have friendly players to show beginners the basics.
Game Play – we’ll arrange games based on skill level so everyone can enjoy.
Equipment needed– if you don't own a paddle hire from us $2 per session, have We’ll have paddles and balls ready, but feel free to bring your own if you have them.
Session Structure (60–120min)
1st Half: Drills on Specific Skill Set (30–60 min)
Warm-up (10 min) |Light footwork drills |Short dinking exchanges (focus on control and consistency)
Skill Drills (30–40 min, adjust based on focus skill)
Dinking Drill: Cross-court and straight-on dinking with a focus on consistency, control, and footwork.
Volleys & Blocks: Reaction-based drills to handle fast volleys and reset the ball.
3rd Shot Drops & Drives: Alternating between a drop shot and a drive, practicing decision-making.
Transition Zone Play: Working on movement from the baseline to the kitchen line effectively.
2nd Half: Game Play with Skill Application (45–60 min)
Controlled Games (20–30 min)
Players must incorporate the skill learned in a structured mini-game. (e.g., dinking-only rallies, drive-and-drop scenarios)
Point play but focused on practicing the drilled skill.
Open Play with Coaching Feedback (20–60 min)
Players compete in normal games but receive feedback on incorporating the skills they practiced. Rotate partners and mix matchups to keep gameplay dynamic.
Key Notes:
Emphasize proper technique over winning points.
Provide real-time feedback but keep it constructive and brief.
Encourage self-reflection after each match: What worked? What needs improvement?
What to Bring: Comfortable sportswear and shoes. | Own paddles if you own one | Plenty of water to stay hydrated.
A great attitude and a willingness to have fun!
Ps. We share the same entrance swimming pool gate, once past the gate go down the ramp , then take the left ramp up towards the indoor center.
