How the Round Robin Works

• ·         Players sign up each week to play.
• ·         Once registrations close, the committee places up to 5 players on a card with players of similar ability.
• ·         Players are grouped using DUPR rating (if available), club grading from previous competition statistics, and knowledge of player level.
• ·         Players play with every other player on the card.
• ·         With 5 players: 4 matches played to 15 points swapping ends at 8. With fewer players: matches may be played to 21 with swapping ends at 10.
• Each week there will be a court winner
• ·         All match scores are entered into DUPR, provided players are registered with DUPR.

How to Sign Up

• ·         Register through the OpenSports App (green 'O' icon in the App Store).
• ·         Up to 40 players (aged 13+) can register each week.
• Cost is $7 per player per night, paid through the app.
• ·         Registrations close 24 hours before play (Monday 6:30pm) . If all places are filled, players will be placed on a waitlist.
• ·         Cancellations up to 24 hours before play remain as a credit in the app.
• ·         Cancellations within 24 hours or non-attendance are non-refundable.

Creating a DUPR Account

Sign up by downloading the DUPR app or visiting: https://dashboard.dupr.com

·         Click Sign Up and create your profile. Search for and join 'Deniliquin Pickleball DUPR' in the club’s section

·         Verify your account via the email you receive

·         If the app requests payment, please do not pay. Exit and try again.

·         If you experience difficulties signing up, a committee member can assist

·         Players do not need a DUPR rating to play, however if a match includes players without a DUPR account the result cannot be entered into DUPR. Signing up will be a great help to the committee.

What is DUPR?

DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating) is a global rating system that assigns players a skill rating between 2.000 and 8.000 based on match results and opponent strength. It helps match players with others of a similar level.

All welcome to play. For those who yet to play Pickleball at Deniliquin Stadium we ask you complete the waiver acknowledging that Deniliquin Stadium does not have player insurance. If you are registered with Pickleball Australia you have insurance cover with Pickleball Australia as Deniliquin Stadium is an affiliated venue.
