This clinic is tailored for GYL athletes ages 12-16 who are interested in enhancing their spiking and defensive skills. We will focus on improving techniques for powerful and accurate spikes, as well as developing strong defensive moves and skills.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn and refine various spiking techniques, including the mechanics, learning to hit from various sets and from varying distances from the net. They will also gain knowledge and practice executing the proper way to dig a spike as well as recover tips. Our experienced coaches will guide players through each technique.

In addition to spiking and defense, we will also dedicate time to passing, including platform and overhand.

Attendees who cancel 2 days before the program will have the full cost of their ticket issued to their Big City Youth Volleyball account credit.
