Big City Volleyball is excited to announce the return of our Boys' Youth League this Winter. Now taking place Sundays at The Post BK from 11 am-1 pm, our Winter Boys' Youth League is for players in grades 7-12 who live in Manhattan, Brooklyn & Queens and have the volleyball SKILLS and DESIRE to COMPETE in league with REFEREES! 

• Same-day practices and matches in Williamsburg at The Post BK 11 am-1 pm
• Refereed Matches
• Standings / Playoffs / Uniforms

This program is ideal for ADVANCED players who want to play before school volleyball season starts or as an alternative to club volleyball WITHOUT:

• Lack of playing time
• Ridiculous fees
• Long drives to compete
• 10-month Club Commitment
• Holiday Tournaments.

In order to participate, all NEW players must attend one Try-Out to be considered for the Winter 2022 Boys League, HOWEVER, returning players are not required to try out. All players should have prior playing experience on either a club or school team or have taken our advanced youth volleyball classes during the year or at one of our Summer Camps.

Try-Out Details:
Date: Sunday, December 11th
Time: 11am-1pm
Location: The Post BK - 100 Dobbin Street, Brooklyn, NY
Tryout Fee: $25

• The $25 Registration fee is a TRYOUT FEE ONLY. All NEW players must attend at least one tryout to be considered for the league.

For players selected, the Boys Youth League program will cost $650 and include:

• Winter 2023 Season: January 8th - March 12th (Off on MLK and President's Weekend)
• 8 weeks
• 8 Refereed Matches
• Max roster size 12
• All players are guaranteed to play a minimum of 2 sets per match
• Professional Uniforms
• Experienced Big City Coaching Staff with collegiate experience + referees
• Practice and Match Days: Sundays 11 am-1 pm at The Post BK

All Big City Volleyball Youth Programs will follow strict local and CDC guidelines for safe play and instruction including:

• Masks are optional for players
• Players will use hand sanitizer before / during/after play
• Strict cleaning and sanitation measures including wiping down / Sanitizing all surfaces & balls before/during/after play
• Health Screening process for participants prior to entering Class
• Bring your own water bottle

Please note that a health Questionnaire Form will be sent out starting at 8 am on the day of the activity parents must confirm their child does not have COVID symptoms before showing up.
