This session uses a round robin format where you will get to play with and against other players of a similar skill level to you.
For social and above players skill levels and court allocations are determined by DUPR ratings (DUPR is explained below). Beginner players do not need to have a DUPR rating.
Games will be played using the Pickle Hub modified rally scoring format to 21 points. Find out more about this rally scoring format here.
This session is for people who have played pickleball before. The Beginner level is for people who have previously attended an Introduction to Pickleball.
If you are new to pickleball, you will need to attend an Introduction to Pickleball session before joining a game play session. Introduction to Pickleball sessions are available at Yeronga.
If youâve previously played tennis, though you havenât played pickleball before, you will need to attend the Introduction to Pickleball session.
Pickleball is the most fun when you are playing with players of a similar skill level to you. For player safety and enjoyment and to facilitate players being matched to a court with players of a similar skill level, we use DUPR ratings to allocate players to courts. Players with the highest DUPR rating will be allocated to the top court.
If a player does not yet have a DUPR rating, the skill level selected when booking will determine the court they play on for the session.

DUPR is an international pickleball rating system that tracks playerâs ratings. With each game entered in DUPR, playersâ ratings are adjusted based on the score of the game and the ratings of the opponents they were playing. When you check-in you will be asked if you want your game scores recorded in DUPR or not. Game scores are automatically entered by Pickle Hubs Fyre Court system into DUPR - there is nothing you need to do after creating your DUPR account.
You will need to setup your DUPR account that is linked to Pickle Hub (itâs free to setup).
1ď¸âŁ Download and install the DUPR app on your phone and create your free DUPR account.

If you don't have a DUPR rating, the skill level that you select when booking will be used to allocate you to a court.
Based on court availability and session bookings at each skill level, the Pickle Hub hosts may need to merge some skill levels or re-allocate players between courts.
