This tournament aims to raise $5000 for the Philly Beach fund, whose mission is to create a series of beach volleyball courts for players in Philadelphia.

FORMATS

Women's Doubles & Men's Doubles are play on Saturday
Coed Doubles & Gender-Blind quads will be played Sunday

Key "Old School" rules

• Large Court (30x60)
• Sideout scoring
• No Let serves (serve touching the net)
• Block does not count as a touch
• No open-hand tips, sets or pushes over the net

If pool play is not finished by 3:30pm, games will switch to rally for the rest of pool play.

PRIZES

1st place:

Tournament Shirt +
AA: $280 cash
A: $200 cash
BB: $160 in OpenSports credits
B: $120 in OpenSports credits

2st place:

If there are not enough teams to fill a divisions, we may combine divisions. Prizes will be based on the division with the majority of teams, or if there are enough total teams, we may have gold/silver playoff brackets.

NOTES

• 8:30 check-in, 9:00 start
• Tournament shirts and other shirts available for purchase while supplies last
• No special "start-time" accommodations
• You can register for both days, even if OpenSports warns you that you are already registered
• Your teammate must sign the waiver by joining your team; help is available if this proves difficult
• We will be grilling for donations to the Philly Beach fund
