Easy Flat Water Paddle lasting 2hrs. Official SCKC Event

Due to Boulder Beach congestion, lack of sufficient parking, and bathrooms, I've decided to change the location. This is an easy paddle on Long Lake where it meets the Little Spokane River. It's located just past the take out for the Little Spokane River downriver from Nine Mile Dam. Discovery Pass required. All Paddlers are welcome - We are happy to help newer boaters. NOTE the EARLIER TIME! Let me know if you have any questions.

Arrive at least 15 minutes early to unload your boat and set up your gear to start at 5:00PM SHARP. People will be available to help you unload and load your boats.

Wind, smoke, high temperatures or other conditions could result in event cancellation. Leader will update on OpenSports if so. Please check OpenSports before coming.

REQUIREMENTS:
SCKC paid membership (see below)
Type of Boat: Recreational and up. Kayak or Canoe
Paddle
PFD – MUST BE WORN
Whistle
Dress for water temperature and weather.

Good Items to Bring: Dry bags, spray skirt, emergency contact info, WATER & SNACKS, headlamp, water shoes, change of clothes (in case you get wet), cap/sunhat, sunscreen, sunglasses with retainer.

Each paddler is responsible to choose outings they can handle comfortably and show up at the put-in prepared and responsible for what the event entails.
