RIVER FLOW DEPENDENT: Paddle upstream looking for heron, osprey, beaver. Park in paved lot. If out of space, park in gravel lot to the east on Upriver or on Upriver Drive itself after unloading your stuff at the paved lot. We'll launch from the sandy beach to the west.

Please bring a headlamp to use both on the water and land as needed. It will be getting dark when you are tying down your boat! Bring boat lights if you have them.

Arrive early enough to be ready to start at 4:00. People will be available to help you unload and load your boats. INDIVIDUALS MUST STAY WITH THE GROUP AND WEAR PFD & WHISTLE WHILE PADDLING.

Wind, smoke, high temperatures or other conditions could result in event cancellation. If so, Leader will update on OpenSports. Please check before coming.

REQUIREMENTS:
SCKC membership
Type of Boat: Recreational and up. Kayak or Canoe
Paddle, PFD, Whistle & Headlamp (getting dark earlier)
Dress for water temperature and weather.

Good Items to Bring: Dry bags, spray skirt, emergency contact info, WATER & SNACKS, water shoes, change of clothes (in case you get wet), cap/sunhat, sunscreen, sunglasses with retainer.

Each paddler is responsible for their safety, to choose outings they can handle comfortably and show up at the put-in prepared and responsible for what the event entails.
