Coordinating an SCKC outing is a great way to meet and paddle with fellow canoe and kayaking enthusiasts. It is also a great way to help SCKC offer a larger variety of paddling opportunities. We all know we want more of those!

The continuation of our human powered paddling tradition requires a key element: willing Coordinators to organize canoe and kayak outings encompassing varying levels of settings, skills and duration.

This short class will walk you through the process of planning, publishing, conducting and following-up after the adventure. New friendships are made and old ones renewed. Skills are acquired and honed in the company of like-mined outdoor enthusiasts in a socially supportive setting.

This is mostly a land class so please don't bring your boats to the water right away. We can go on the water once done!
