Meet at the Rainy Hill Boat Launch. There are pit toilets and a primitive boat ramp at the launch site.
Please be ready to launch by 10 am. That means you have to get there well before 10 am to get your gear unloaded and get in your bathroom stop.
There is poor cell service in the area but here is my # 509-999-7614.
This is an out and back trip so as long as you have a buddy, you can turn around at any time.
Directions: 23 miles east of Coeur d'Alene on I-90, take exit 34 (Rose Lake), drive 11 miles on State Hwy 3, turn west and drive 1 mile to Hwy 3. From HWY 3 take the E. Rainy Hill Rd. for about a mile and watch the sign for Rainy Hill boat launch (http://www.fs.fed.us/ipnf/rec/yourplace/cgguide/33.html). This boat launch is on Medicine Lake and gives you boating access to Cave Lake, Evans Creek, and the CDA River.
