‼ This event will only permit attendees that have an ESTABLISHED and VERIFIABLE A-AA skill level.
Some of the ways that you can be verified is to have an A-AA event history record through Philadelphia Volleyball, a history of tournaments at the A-AA level, have played in NCAA Div 1, played professionally, etc.
*In specific cases only, local volleyball leaders can vouch for a non-established player which then also requires a second recommendation from an established A-AA player.
This is to maintain the safety of everyone at this event. If you would like to attend but do not meet any of the above requirements, attend 2 or more A-AA events by Philly VB other than this one. If Hailin vouches for your skill level, you will be permitted to sign up‼

*YOU WILL HAVE A CHANCE TO SIGN UP FOR THE POSITION YOU WANT TO PLAY WHEN THE EVENT IS POSTED. PLEASE REFRAIN FROM SIGNING UP FOR A POSITION THAT YOU ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH OR IF YOU THINK YOU MIGHT BE A LIABILITY AGAINST OTHER A LEVEL PLAYERS AT THAT POSITION.

‼You must play the position for which you signed up for, for the entire event. It is imperative that you are able to play the position you signed up for adequately. Complaints made against players who are not at level, not playing the position they are familiar with adequately, or who are a safety hazard, will be taken seriously, and you may be ejected from the event, mid-session, without a refund‼

👥 Intended for 🅰️ - 🅰️🅰️ players. One indoor court. 18 players max. Indoor rules. You'll play two games and rest every third.

🔞 Must be 18 years of age or older to participate.

‼Be kind to everyone! If you have concerns about a player, bring it to the host's attention. It is NOT your responsibility nor place to message the person directly. In other words, don't be a jerk and any concerns are to be brought to me, otherwise I reserve the right to bar you from any of my future events.‼

❗Please be considerate, if you cannot attend then cancel your ticket. I reserve the right to cancel tickets for future events if you no show twice. It is fine to show up late to my events, but showing up significantly late (more than 15 minutes) without posting in the event chat or messaging me directly to make me aware will also
count as a no show.❗

🤹 HOW TO DETERMINE YOUR SKILL LEVEL

RANKING SYSTEM (low to high):
Beginner ↗️ B ↗️ BB ↗️ A ↗️ AA ↗️ Pro

A "Beginner" should know the basics of volleyball, and played some volleyball before, but they are just beginning to bump, set, and spike. They should not join an event which includes "BB" or "A" level players.
(Unless in a supervised, specifically managed All Levels event)

🅱️ players are still in the early learning stages of the game but knows the skills. They know how to bump, set (a little), and spike, but have a lot of practice yet to go to be able to do these skills consistently. A "B" player makes mistakes often.

🅱️🅱️ A "BB" player knows where to be on the court at all times when plays are developing. They know where to be when the opponent is hitting. They know the footwork of and how to approach hitting effectively. A "BB" player knows how to run a 5-1, a 6-2, and needlessly, a 4-2.

⬇️BB (lower-BB) and ⬆️BB (upper-BB) refers to how consistent you are at passing, setting, spiking, blocking, digging and serving. ⬆️BB is 80% consistent at every skill point for your physical characteristics.

🅰️ players are above average competitive players. They have in depth knowledge of offensive and defensive game play, and use advanced strategies to be successful. Level A players are typically in excellent physical condition and are able to compete at a high level. These players are former club and/or college athletes.

🅰️🅰️ players are extremely competitive players. These individuals may possess the skills needed to play professionally. These players are current professional or former athletes from D1 or D2 schools.
