Join us to play some social Pickleball (doubles) on Sundays, 10am to 12 noon, at the Peninsula Leisure Centre ( 243 Blackwall Road, Woy Woy ). Once you have booked and paid here on OpenSports, just come to the main indoor court area where you will see the Pickleball courts set up (no need to register at the Leisure centre desk, you will sign-in at the welcome desk in the court area).
The organisation of play on the day is very much determined by the final numbers of players booked and the varying abilities of players.
Important: If you are new to the sport, please be aware that this session is NOT a formal training session. You will be given some basic instruction only. It is important to view informative YouTube clips of professional and recreational games to get a feel for the sport and what is expected.
So be sure to do some stretches beforehand, wear flat soled indoor court shoes, comfy clothing and bring a water bottle! We shall lend you a paddle if you do not have one.
