Lets meet at the public boat launch at Loon Lake. If you haven't been there, Loon is a fairly large lake, there is a small canal near the boat launch that usually has turtles and birds, but lots of open water to paddle. It is time to get in the habit of bringing a headlamp-we may be loading in the dark to come home. Everyone is welcome, but please, no guests, since I don't have waivers. I encourage you to use Google maps to find the launch, rather than the open sport map.
