Flat water paddle board at Riverfront park boat launch under the south side of the Division street bridge. All skill levels welcome. There is SUP rentals at that location for those who want to try the sport for the first time. More info on rentals at https://cdasports.com. Parking is at the Convention Center parking garage. It is flat water but you have to paddle up stream against a very gentle current. You cannot paddle down stream from that location due to the dam. There is a bit of current where the construction is going on at the Trent bridge but it is very short and easily navigated by paddling up the eddy to the left and then making your way across the eddy line. The flow of the river has been reduced significantly in the last week so it is not all that bad and it is a very short stretch. A PFD is required. Do not hesitate to join even if this is your fist time. It is the perfect setting to learn at.
