Come join Big City Volleyball on Saturday March 19th at Major Owens Community Center, located in Brooklyn for our first – REVERSE CO-ED 4v4 TOURNAMENT of the season!

Never heard of that? No sweat – reverse co-ed simply means the net is set at women’s height and guys cannot hit front row (Men have to start their jump behind the 10ft line). This format is growing in popularity since it evens out the playing field for female offense!

Players Arrive by 4:00pm

Team sign-in will take place at 4:00pm in the gym right off the main entrance and games will start promptly at 4:30pm. Teams must register in advance online to participate
Entry fee for 4 person team is $200 (sorry, no individual entries / Roster max 6) t-shirts and prizes for the winners.

Play Rules

• No rotation is required by players except the service order must be kept.
• There must be at least one member of each gender on the court at all times.
• Men always function as back-row players and females always as front-row. Men cannot block.
• All other Big City Rules are in effect (no net touching, under the net indoor rule)

Format Rules
Games are to 21 with one time-out per team per set. Win by 2, cap is at 23.
Keep track of point differential between teams. Seeding is based on: Total wins, head to head, head to head points, over all tournament point differential.
Off teams responsible for ref / line / scorekeeping (Working Teams Assigned)
