Can I manually refund someone after an event has taken place?

Yes!

In this short how-to guide we will show you how to send refunds through the OpenSports App and Web interfaces.

Manual Refunds: Current version of the app

Tap on “Manage Users” > Under the Attending list, swipe from left to right on the name of the player you want to refund > Click “Refund Order”. That’s it!

The player will get a notification (app or email) as soon as the refund is issued and the money will go into their bank account in 7–10 business days.

Manual Refunds: Web

Go to your event (find your past event by clicking on the drop down Menu under your profile picture >click “Hosting Events” and click on the “PAST” tab).

Once you find your event, click on “Manage Users” > Under the Attending list, click on the “Payment” button > Click the “Refund” button. That’s it!

The player will get a notification (app or email) as soon as the refund is issued and the money will go into their bank account in 7–10 business days.

Manual Refunds: Old version of the app

Tap on “Manage Users” > Under the Payment heading, click on the “View Details” button > tap on the name of the player you want to refund and click “Refund Order”. That’s it!

Player’s Notification

The player will receive the following message in their OpenSports chat (or email, if they are set up to receive notifications via email):
