Create invite codes for teammates to register for your team on the app
Note: You must be the person who registered your team in the league/tournament, in order to be able to generate an invite code and send invites to other teammates to join your team. One invite code can be sent to multiple players.
- Make sure you are in the “leagues/tournaments” environment (the trophy icon)
- From the “My Team” tab, tap on the ellipsis “Invite Players”
- Then tap on Create Invite Code, or, if you prefer to invite players through the OpenSports Email/Text Invite system, tap on Send Invites and you will be able to enter their email address or select from your phone contacts, and instantly send them an invite
- If you created an invite code, OpenSports will automatically generate an invite code that you (the captain) can share with teammates via any platform
Sharing the invite link
Now that you have an invite link copied to your clipboard, you can share it with whomever you’d like! Here’s what it will look like when your teammate joins the team:

Your teammate will click on the invite link that you (the captain) generated, and will be led to the registration screens. Once registered, your teammate is brought to your Team’s Dashboard! Here’s some screenshots:
