How to send refunds (full & partial) for leagues/tournaments (web + app)

Via the Web

Permissions: League/Tournament Managers can remove players from leagues/tournaments, HOWEVER, only Group Admins can send refunds.

  • From the Players section of the league menu, click on the players name (don’t tap on the “…” if you’re sending a refund)
  • Now you’ll see the Player Details page which will show registration details and transaction details
  • Tap on the Refund button to send a full or partial refund
  • Type in the amount that you’d like to refund (it obviously can’t be any more than the amount the player paid)
  • Select if you’d also like to remove the player from the league/tournament while refunding them
  • Type in the reason for the refund and/or removal
  • Click refund, and a confirmation window will pop up. Click Yes to confirm the refund
  • You will be directed back to the Player Details page where you will view the details about the refund from the Transaction section
  • If you did not send a full refund, and you would like to send another refund for the same initial transaction, you can repeat the process and send them another refund. You can do this until you’ve refunded the full amount!

Via the App

  • Tap on the players’ name (don’t tap on the “…” if you’re sending a refund)
  • Now you’ll see the Player Details page which will show registration details and transaction details
  • Tap on the Refund button to send a full or partial refund
  • Type in the amount that you’d like to refund (it obviously can’t be any more than the amount the player paid)
  • Select if you’d also like to remove the player from the league/tournament while refunding them
  • Type in the reason for the refund and/or removal
  • Tap refund, and a confirmation window will pop up. Tap Yes to confirm the refund
  • You will be directed back to the Player Details page where you will view the details about the refund from the Transaction section
  • If you did not send a full refund, and you would like to send another refund for the same initial transaction, you can repeat the process and send them another refund. You can do this until you’ve refunded the full amount!
