How to add and delete photos to OpenSports events

Event attendees and admins are able to upload an unlimited number of photos to the event page through the OpenSports website or app. Only event admins, event managers, and group admins are able to delete event photos (read more about admin roles here.

This guide will show you how to upload and delete photos to the event page through the OpenSports website and app.

How to upload photos to an event page

  1. Navigate to your event page and click on the camera icon in the Photos section.
  2. You will be prompted to either select images on your computer or to drag-and-drop the photos you want to upload. For best quality, we recommend using photos that are at least 1000 x 1000 pixels. You can upload multiple photos at once.
  3. Any event photos added to the event page will be displayed under the Photos section.

Photos uploaded to events are also displayed on your group home page on the OpenSports website (Home tab → Photos section).

How to delete photos from an event page

Only group admins, event admins, or event managers are able to delete photos from event pages.

  1. Navigate to your event page and scroll to the Photos section.
  2. Click on the photo you want to delete. Then click Delete in the top left corner.

To delete photos from the group home page directly, you must delete the photo from the event:

  1. Click on the photo you want to delete.
  2. Click on the linked event where the photo was uploaded (green link below the photo). This will take you to the event page where you can follow the steps above to delete the photo.
