Why can’t I edit the refund policy/if I’m collecting payment/if my event is private?

Once you have created an event, the two main things you cannot edit are:

  • the refund policy;
  • if you’re collecting payment via OpenSports.

Most other fields can be easily edited through the Edit button (on web or app).

Easy trick

If you need to edit one of these fields and no one has signed up and you don’t want to recreate the whole event, just click “Repeat event” and you will be able to edit everything. Note that you'll need to adjust the event dates as repeating an event moves the event start forward by one week. Also, be sure to delete the original event.
