G'day! I'm Coach Zak, the owner and head pickleball coach at Pickle Kit Pickleball Club. With over 16 years of coaching experience, I'm passionate about bringing top-quality pickleball sessions to the Mitchelton and wider Brisbane area.
As the sport continues to grow in Australia, Pickle Kit is all about making pickleball accessible and fun for everyone. We run weekly indoor and outdoor sessions, small group coaching, and specialised Coaching Clinics to help players sharpen their skills—whether you’re brand new or preparing for your next tournament.
I’ve previously coached in Noosa, Hong Kong, and at The Royal Sydney Golf Club, and I now focus on developing the Pickle Kit community through our coaching clinics and social sessions held at Mitchelton and Arana Hills.
No matter your experience or age, come join the crew on court. Our goal is to help you improve physically, technically, and mentally while having a blast playing pickleball.

TYPES OF SESSIONS:
New to Pickleball?
If you are new to pickleball, you will need to attend a 'Come & Try' session before joining a match play session.
Match Play:
🥒 Social Play: Friendly match play moving between courts depending on your results.
🥒 Social Round Robin: Scheduled alternating partner match play.
🥒 Pickle a Court: Court Hire with all equipment provided.
Competition:
🥒 Pickle Komp: High-level tournament style doubles and singles matches.
🥒 6 Week League: Alternating partner Round Robin competitive match play.
🥒 Same Partner Doubles: Team Round Robin competitive match play.
Coaching:
🥒 Beginner Practice: Build confidence and practise what you learnt from your 'Come & Try' before joining social play.
🥒 Skills and Drills & Tournament Training: Coach Zak helping you improve your game through coaching and match play.
🥒 Group Coaching: Elevate your pickleball game with Pickle Kit's expert coaching sessions.
🥒 Coaching Clinics: Exclusive bi-monthly 3hr clinic.
🌟 Kids aged 10+ can join our ‘Come & Try’ sessions, but must be accompanied by a registered adult. Please note, we don’t currently run weekly kids’ sessions, and our regular social play is for ages 17+. If you’d like to play together, court hire is available at Pickle Kit.
