PICKLEBALL is a paddle sport you can learn in minutes and play for a lifetime.
It brings together elements of tennis, badminton, and ping pong to create a sport that’s fun for all ages and skill levels, but gets fast-paced and exhilarating at competitive levels.
How is pickleball different to other net sports?
It’s easier to pick up than many net sports
It’s lower impact than tennis, so it’s easier on the body
It focuses on quick reflexes and aiming, rather than spiking the ball, powerful serves, or running speed
These differences open pickleball up to a greater range of players. Whether you’ve been playing tennis your whole life, or you’re walking onto a court for the first time; whether you’re young, old, or in between; whether you’re strategic and competitive, or just want to get involved in something fun, social, or active… PICKLEBALL is for you.
Brand new to Pickleball?
We highly recommend you attend one of our Come & Try Sessions for a thorough introduction to the sport; here you will learn the rules, court positioning, how to hold your paddle, and our club style of play. Our hosts can then suggest further sessions for you based on your ability.
These Come & Try sessions are usually held each Friday at Shaw Park (Wooloowin), each Saturday at Aspley East, each Tuesday at The Gap, each Sunday at Mt Gravatt, weekly at Rocklea and Wakerley, or monthly at Balmoral on a Saturday. We also hold two sessions on a Saturday at Albion (booked via Meetup app).

If you are becoming a paid member of our club, this is an important step that needs to be completed so we can tag you on this app as a Club Member and you can access special session rates and member only sessions, thank you in advance!
IMPORTANT - for first time attendees, please complete our waiver form via the below link before attending, unless you have paid for our club membership already. Welcome to Evolve Narrabeen Pickleball and Tennis Club.
We are located on the Narrabeen Sports High courts at the rear of the campus.
Entrance to the courts is at the black gate at the end of the Namona Street cul-de-sac. Street parking only. After entering through the black gate, you will walk across an open field that is next to the courts
Play is available through our social sessions after school hours during the week and also on the weekends.
We offer a range of activities including New to Pickleball classes Kids groups, Social play, and Match play competitions.
Just click on the day/ level you wish to play to see available sessions, or visit our website for further information on classes and kids.
If you wish to play with just your friends, book into a social session and let us know that you want your own court !!

Welcome to Northern Beaches Pickleball
We run over 100 sessions of social play, tournaments and coaching across 10 Northern Beaches locations every week.
We welcome new players, players with experience and visitors from outside of Sydney.
New to pickleball? If you have not played pickleball previously, or if you have only played a few times, you must first attend "Pickleball - Come and Try" or "Pickleball for New Players". At your first session, we will provide information about joining NBP and your next steps towards attending general sessions.
If you have pickleball experience and are familiar with the rules, including scoring, you can be assessed to join the club with a higher grade. Head to our website and fill out the experienced player assessment form.
If you’re planning to visit us please fill out the visitor application form on our website to apply for free temporary membership.
Please remember to use your original login details when you access your OpenSports account from a new device. Creating multiple accounts through Facebook, email, Apple ID etc., creates a lot of work for us, and may mean you miss out on grading opportunities.
