Welcome to our Avalon Beach Pickleball community! Our group is for all pickleball enthusiasts in and around Sydney, NSW Australia. Whether you’re a beginner who just wants to learn a new sport for fun, or you’re a seasoned player who craves the thrill of more competitive play, pickleball offers something for everyone (subect to our Club's Health and Safety policy).
If you have never played before, our club requires newbies to attend an introductory lesson to learn the basic rules and how to score. We also expect most newbies to attend a Supervised Beginner session before being allowed to join in the regular sessions. Pickleball combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong using a paddle and plastic ball with holes. It is an intergenerational game which requires reasonable agility and hand-eye coordination. The rules for pickleball are simple, making it a great introductory sport. It can also be quite a challenging, fast-paced, and competitive game when people become more experienced at playing. Above all, pickleball is a lot of fun!

We would like to welcome you back to Evolve Narrabeen Pickleball and Tennis Club.
We have made some changes and are now offering a range of new programs including beginner classes, kids groups, social play, comps and tournaments.
Social Play
Tue, Wed and Fri 5:45-7:15pm
Sat and Sun 11am-12:30pm
$15 per session
We are also offering weekly doubles comps on Monday and Thursday nights from 7-8:30pm

We are located at Narrabeen Sports High School in North Narrabeen, NSW. At Evolve Pickleball, every court is an open invitation to join a welcoming community where respect, encouragement, and the joy of playing are paramount.
Entrance to the courts is at the black gate at the end of the Namona Street cul-de-sac. Street parking only. After entering through the black gate, you will walk across an open field that is next to the courts. For questions about wet weather cancellations, please message the session host on OpenSports.

Welcome to Northern Beaches Pickleball, bringing pickleball to Sydney's northern beaches region. We run sessions of competitive play, social play and skills improvement for players of all levels from absolute beginners to advanced dinkers every day, at several venues. We welcome new players and visitors from overseas, interstate and all of NSW.

After you create an OpenSports account, use your original login details when you access your account from a new device. For example, if you create an account using your email address as your login ID, do not then use your Apple or Facebook ID when you login from a different device. If you forgot your password, request a reset.
If you have not played pickleball previously, or if you have only played a few times, you must first attend "Pickleball - Come and Try" or "Pickleball for New Players". At your first session, we will provide information about joining NBP and your next steps towards attending general sessions.
If you already have experience with pickleball and are familiar with the rules, including scoring, you may be able to attend general sessions straight away. This includes visitors to our region. Please refer to our website under Played Before and Want to Join NBPA.
